On the 25th of November there was a university strike demo in Leeds. We had gone to demos before that and when speaking to stuff on strike found that a supposed lack of student support had been used as argument against the strikes.
We decided to do a call out for fellow students to make a small (45x45cm) banner of support to their university staff on strike. We had just over a week to get all the panels together, sew them and take it to the march on the 30th of November. The student solidarity banner holds 30 panels made by students across Leeds Beckett University, University of Leeds and Leeds Arts University.
