Join Stuart Linden Rhodes and Emma Bentley Fox for an in conversation, discussing their archival practices, focusing on the importance of recording queer lives and histories. They both have a background in photographing Queer nightlife, bringing an intergenerational conversation of the importance of documenting this important aspect of queer life which is often overlooked.
Stuart has recently published his photographs in the book ‘Out and About with Linden’ which focuses on his photographs documenting the gay club scene in the north of England, many taken during Section 28 when he worked during the day as a teacher in the classroom.
The talk will be held at Hyde Park Art Club, where Emma recently had her solo show Confessions of a Party Mom consisting of archival photographs of her party collective, spanning years of friendship, art and Queer joy.
